My name is John Whicker. I live in Aylesbury, UK, not far from London. I
have lurked here for quite a few weeks now and this is my first posting.

I have used Nikon 35mm equipment for more than 15 years, and Olympus OM for
more than ten years before that, but I had always wanted to own and use a
Spotmatic and Super-Takumars since my teens. I bought one a year ago and
was hooked!

Now I have changed completely from Nikon to Pentax bayonet and use an LX and
a Super A plus a few fine SMC Pentax lenses.

I changed to Pentax because of the lenses. Most Nikon lenses don't have
good out of focus effects. Many Pentax lenses do. Choose carefully and
they are among the best this side of Leica and Contax, for very little
money!

John
