Funny you should mention it. My first camera was a Miranda G. In 1974, on my Honeymoon in NY City, I traded the Miranda G for an OM-1 with the Zuiko 50/1.4. To compare the Miranda with the Olympus is like comparing Rod Stewart with Pavarotti. The 50/1.4 Zuiko gave me the best KR64 shots ever. It was one sweet lens.
A couple of years later I got the hots for the MX, which was as small or smaller than the OM-1. Instead of buying the MX, I ended up getting the Ricoh XR-1. I figured if I build up a collection of K mount lenses, eventually I'll get a Pentax camera. Not before I traded the XR-1 for an XR-1s and then upgraded to an XR-X, that I eventually got my first Pentax camera. It was a Program Plus mated to a 40/2.8 Pancake lens. Coudn't pass up the deal, at $90 CDN. The rest is history......
