My apologies. I will attempt to constrain all future remarks to

ok. I guess "bag insert" has special meaning to the convention junkie.

The ONLY reason I mentioned it: I thought the figure of 2000 was a decent <

CD is still up in the air.

I don't think we did more than 300-400 two years ago. Copying
thousands of CDs is likely to be way out of reach unless someone here
has access to high-volume CD replication.

I think 300-400 was a very low estimate. I recall burning at least 150 myself, and thought some other person burned more than me.

Assuming 5 minutes per unit, copying 2000 CDs would take almost 7 full
24-hour days... that's an impressive amount of time even if we split
it up 5-10 ways.

But perhaps we should decide whether we are doing a CD before spending
much time deciding on the right quantity to make. Just a thought.

Finally, back to the main concern: To burn or not to burn

So far, I have not identified anyone who is an enthusiastic proponent for burning a "custom Knoppix cd" [ or moving up to a DVD]

Anyone want to step up and argue in favor of burning CDs?
