PDX.rb does this on occasions, we usually meet at places like Old
Town Pizza... and have over 10 people show up at times.
If David was interested in organizing stuff... I'm sure we could
accommodate at our office in downtown on a Saturday... provided you
pick up after yourselves... or David does. ;-)
I would like to come to such a meeting. It sounds fun.
I think they rent out the main room at free geek for pretty cheap if
attendance gets out of control that we can't have it at any of the
other places mentioned, and possibly free if they think it is cool
enough, and promotes their values.
But unless we heavily promote it I doubt anything like that would
happen for a while.
