I believe nocat is what you want if you were looking to integrate this
functionality into an already running setup. I you wanted to create a
captive portal with your current DLink AP and as little fuss as
possible checkout lessnetworks, http://www.lessnetworks.com/. It will
require another machine, at least a Pentium 133 w/64MB RAM and 1GB
hard drive and 2 network cards. lessnetworks is a packaged linux
captive portal distribution. Like smoothwall is to linux routers.
