Craig,

Now that you have SP2 installed, you can save your preferences as a file, and import them into any future reinstall (Tools>Preferences - Save button at bottom of window). Menu, toolbar, and shortcut customization is saved, along with schematic and pcb default primitives.

Workspaces can also be saved (File>Save Workspace as).

Altium made it happen because paying customers asked for it.

Blame the minor inconvenience of re-licensing on pirates that don't want to pay for the software or the improvements (including the ability to save program customization).

Regards - Harry

I just installed DXP 2004 SP2

Not only did I have to go though the licensing/activation procedure again, I find that all my customised setting have reverted to defaults.
Protel, you've done it again.

Imagine if every time you applied a Windows SP you lost your profile and had to set it all up again.

Not happy Jan
