Thanks Abd, the 'split up and measure the parts' approach worked.
The method Casey suggested was no option: P99SE has no 'report-measure selected objects', only 'measure distance' (measure objects measures clearance).
That's not correct, there is a process "PCB:MeasureSelectedObjects" under Customize Resources, you can assign a hotkey to it, I use it regularly to check net length after a Select Net.
