Hi all,

Thanks to all who assisted with my kick-start difficulties. I am simulating just fine. Basically just couldn't see the woods for the trees and browsing the Manual for a while got me sorted.

Best Regards,
Jim Parr

Check you have the Sim.ddb loaded (not just Spice.ddb)- click on Browse Sch and
select Libraries in the drop down menu (top left of screen).
You should find BJT.LIB in the list of libraries below.
If not us Add/Remove to add it.
The default location for Sim.ddb is C:\Program Files\Design Explorer 99
SE\Library\Sch\Sim.ddb

Jim,
There is a BC847B model in the Sim.ddb (BJT.LIB).
Hope this helps.

Mmmm! Having trouble with BJT....?? but that is just great! Figured the darn thing y had to hanging around somewhere!

Ah yes - we as good Kiwis are very averse to RTFM. Mr. A.Jenkins, thank you very much for manual/legacy site reference. Am downloading as I write this. Bit lengthy as on dial-up tonight but hopefully well worth the trouble.

Best regards,
Jim Parr
