well the PDF plot thickens a bit

i went to another machine, virtually identical setups
and it works fine and prompts for the file name as it should

i double checked all the settings for PDF and they appear to be the same

i did note that the bad machine had acrobat 7.0.2 and the good one 7.0.1

the problem seems to be that the file save as dialog has it's 'save' button automagically pushed on the 'bad' machine so that i cannot navigate to a new path

i guess i'll reformat all my drives ... :)

i've got Adobe Acrobat Pro 7.0.2

when i go to print a PDF from 99SE schematic
it always goes to the stupid 'My documents' directory and uses the name 'protel schematic'

the adobe option to 'prompt for file name' is checked in the printer properties but it seems to be ignored by protel or something like that

i swear i had this fixed since getting acrobat 7 but now it is behaving like 4 again

it is a real pain to go find the file, rename it, and move it *every time*

sometimes it seems like the path box is behind the currently printing box

anybody know how to get this to work in a reasonable way ??

thanks

i NEVER want stuff in My Documents
