Adding to Jon's list of the Gerber import compatibilities to P99Se, there is 
also the issue of repeated X or Y coordinate suppression that can make it 
incompatible for import. I don't recall which way Protel wants it, repeated X 
or Y coordinates suppressed or unsupressed.

And, there are some programs that generate a Gerber file that
is completely incompatible with Protel's way of understanding
the file, such as using a different leading/trailing zero suppression
or relative coordinate setting.
