Hi Harry,

I think you will find the limit is 1024 chars per
cell, and if I remember it's a display limit only.

   Length of cell contents (text) 32,767 characters. 
   Only 1,024 display in a cell; all 32,767 display 
   in the formula bar. 

Note, changing the format for the cell to 'General'
I think it is, can help display the cell contents
that was set to 'text' ?? (something like that anyway)
