Hello Duane,

Even 14 layers is pushing the limit for a 0.062" board. Apart from
registration problems, you are starting to use some very thin core
materials (around 0.1mm (~0.004"))
It would be worth your while to talk to your manufacturer.

regards,
Phil.

Subject: [PEDA] 16 layer question

I'm designing a 16 layer board and would like it to be 'vanilla' (easy
to make - low cost). Is .062" board thickness pretty standard fare for
16 layer?

thanks
Duane Foster
