Hi Christian, The problem is either printer drivers or more likely Protel's Print Pre-viewer. I've always found it doesn't like fine pitched stuff. It probably doesn't like any pitch, but you only notice on fine pitched stuff.
I guess the best work around is to actually move the connector in the offending direction slightly. Dodgy and I know, you shouldn't have to, but not many options I'm afraid. I take it you want to print it accurately to etch yourself? I routed with a 2.5mil grid. When I finally made a PCB-Print (<project>.PPC), Protel produced a offset between all the tracks and the connectors footprint. (see pictures) At first I changed the design's grid to a smaller one ---> no effect Then I switched the PCB-Print-Server to it's default values ---> no effect Is there anyone who has an idea how to print out this PCB accurately? What's the problem here? regards Christian ____________________________________________________________ You are subscribed to the PEDA discussion forum To Post messages: mailto:[email protected] Unsubscribe and Other Options: http://techservinc.com/mailman/listinfo/peda_techservinc.com Browse or Search Old Archives (2001-2004): http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected] Browse or Search Current Archives (2004-Current): http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]
