Hi Christian,

The problem is either printer drivers or more likely Protel's Print
Pre-viewer. I've always found it doesn't like fine pitched stuff.
It probably doesn't like any pitch, but you only notice on fine pitched
stuff.

I guess the best work around is to actually move the connector in the
offending direction slightly. Dodgy and I know, you shouldn't have to, but
not many options I'm afraid.

I take it you want to print it accurately to etch yourself?

Cheers,

TC

Subject: [PEDA] offset when doing a PCB-Print

Hello,

I made a small PCB with a 0.4mm-pitch-connector. I routed with a 2.5mil
grid.

When I finally made a PCB-Print (<project>.PPC), Protel produced a offset
between all the tracks and the connectors footprint. (see pictures)

At first I changed the design's grid to a smaller one ---> no effect
Then I switched the PCB-Print-Server to it's default values ---> no effect

Is there anyone who has an idea how to print out this PCB accurately? What's
the problem here?

regards
Christian
