Well, I was trying to use the Edit - Export to Spread command. It 
recognises highlighted material, and offers the choice to export all 
or only highlighted stuff. You then get to select what 
primitives/attributes to export....

If seems I made a typo: the exact message reads "License information 
for TF1Book is invalid".
Searching again with that info revealed an old message (Nov 12, 2001) 
on this very forum referring to knowledge base article #1701.

Upon reading that article I got somewhat depressed: looks I am in for 
a re-install......:(
