I understand that you can do anything you want, and that I should keep it consistent once I start.
It would make life easier if I don't try to re-invent the wheel. So if Altium is using mechanical 13 for their component bodies, and I have no good reason for using a different layer, wouldn't it make sense for me to use the same. ...
