Yes that did occur to me, I actually am able to open the library that I'm having problems with to do my edits and then save it, however if I then try and load the library through the add/remove libraries I get the same file not recognized error message and can't load it. So am I'm kind of at a loss here, it seems to indicate perhaps not a problem with Protel but rather Windows Vista, as I have never had this kind of problem in Win XP. I'll play around with it a bit more and see.
