Dear Stan, lists

What if my own claims are coupled with the theory of science I support - while
Stan's own claims are coupled with the theory of science which he supports?

In that case,

- my claims are hypotheses framed by discussions and comparisons of different
arguments from the tradition, coupled with empirical observations from
different sciences, producing fallible truth claims to be discussed and
criticized by peers - while

- Stan's claims are determined by the actual state of social discourse, placing
very close restrictions on which kinds of claims and knowledge may be produced
and accepted as knowledge …

Could this be right?
