We seem to have had a renewed spate of people who feel
that only certain topics are fit for pen-l. I note that most
of those making such points seem to say "we ought to be doing
this" and then don't do it. I note that the propensity to tell
people what they can say and what they cannot say is one of the
main reasons why the "actually existing socialisms" are no longer
"actually existing" to note one of the "real world issues" we are
supposed to be keeping ourselves strictly to.
As one of the guilty parties who has gone on excessively
about "overly esoteric" matters (although I have participated
also in some of the more "real world issues" discussions as well)
I promise to shut up just so some people will be happy. To Paul
Cockshott and Allin Cottrell, this means you have the opportunity
to get the last word in on LTV, since I shall not respond out of
fear of being purged from the net by serious-minded folks.
