Today's (Wednesday) opinion polls are 50% (-1) - (Scan-Fact Co.),
58%(-1)-(MMI Co.) and 53(-1) - (Gallup Co.) for NO, correspondingly for
YES. Numbers in parentheses are changes from yesterday's corresponding
polls. The mean of those three polls is 53.7, one per cent
below yesterday.

This may signify a weak trend towards YES, but the NO majority is still
fairly clear. A discussion has arisen about the large spread between
polls. The Scan-Fact poll incorporates those who are very weakly YES
and NO, while the MMI poll only counts those who say they in fact are
going to vote. this means that the ScanFact poll may be to optimistic
on behalf of YES, since they count persons who most likely will stay
home and abstain from voting.
