Blair, this was Jeronimo Ji Jaga (fka, Elmer Pratt), a then-Panther who was framed in the early 70s for a robbery-murder along with Angela Davis. Davis was acquitted, but Ji Jaga was convicted on the basis of testimony from an FBI informant. The informant and the prosecution did not disclose his status, and so, after this guy has spent half his life in jail, he managed to win an appeal for a new trial.
