Gallows humor has always been a part of human life, part of human efforts to survive the absurdity and cruelty of society and many of our fellow human beings. I wrote: >> 2. Joe discovers that his girlfriend is packing her bags and moving out of >> his apartment. When he asks why, she says "I can't stand your pedophilia." >> Says he: "that's a pretty big word for a 10-year old!" It is all a question of degree, some jokes may be rude yet acceptable but this pedophilia joke is utterly tasteless and immoral, and it does condone pedophilia.
