Sacramento anti-war rally

I just returned home from the anti-war rally at the state Capitol. An estimated 5,000 people attended.

There were lots of young people. Some of them were occupied with a "drum circle," seemingly oblivious to speakers imploring the crowd to oppose the war hawks in Washington.

Sacramento's finest were also on hand filming us. And two young people I spoke with said that today's peace rally was their second, the first being the one in S.F. on Jan. 18.
