The February issue of Monthly Review has a good article by Fred Magdoff (Harry's son) about hunger and agriculture.  I think it would be a good piece for students to read.  I have an article as well, on poverty and inequality in the global economy, also one which might be useful for students.   Let me make a plug for Monthly Review.  We are always looking for good articles on matters of political economy.  So I encourage pen-lers to submit articles.  And let me add that unlike most magazines, we will actually edit articles we like. We will take turgid academic prose and make it sparkle!!    Michael Yates
