^^^^^^ CB: I can see how you might have misunderstood what I meant. I am saying that Hegel ( and Marx) employ both formal logic and dialectical "logic". Within formal logic , they recognize the rule of non-contradiction. Within dialectical logic, contradictions are fruitful and important. There is no "rule" against contradiction, rather contradictions are sought, so to speak.
