no-one said that. It was an _implication_, specifically because the
article did not analyze the way that the DP and Obama abet or
discourage fascism.

quick story: the draft was ended, while unemployment rose. Also, to
some extent the left movement of the 1960s self-destructed (e.g., the
Weather Underground) with the negative side of the movement getting a
lot of press, naturally.
