How about "liberals," which is what they were before the progressives coopted 
the name.

I like how the phrase "money libertarian" has the initials ML, which are the 
same as those of the old self-styled "Marxist Leninist"
(Maoist) vanguard parties. They have acted the way the Maoists only wanted (but 
failed) to do: during the last 33 years or so, the money libertarians have 
imposed a "free market" policy revolution from above on the world, with their 
vanguard parties being the IMF, the US Federal Reserve, etc.
