Take this as you will (I can also type the f* word faster than Michael Perelman kicks me out of the list), but I find it distasteful and even obnoxious your taunting readers about your self-styled personal financial astuteness. Personally I don't give a damn, except as a reminder of the things that are wrong about the world we live in. So, by introspection, I believe it is irrelevant to the issues that concern most people on the list. One may say that it's as easy as filtering you out. But that would be a shame. Knowing you, I am absolutely certain that there are things of much greater import and relevance that you could be contributing on. I certainly consider you as one of finest minds on this list. If you only muster enough humility and self-awareness to temper a bit the way you come across here. I know I'm not the best person to give you or anybody this kind of unsolicited advice, but since nobody else is confronting you, I am glad to do so. It may be of some comfort to know that I'm trying to tell exactly the same things to myself. FWIW. Once you hit certain age, the overriding concern appears to be one's ability to sleep well. _______________________________________________ pen-l mailing list [email protected] https://lists.csuchico.edu/mailman/listinfo/pen-l
