It's amazing how little the economics profession has honored Ostrom
over the years, even after she won the BS-PESIMOAN (i.e., the Bank of
Sweden Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel). Is it
because she was a woman? because she was a political scientist?
because she didn't use mathematics as her main language? because she
leaned toward liberalism?
