I am reading it on the internet. It is fast and breathless like a telegraph or
cable report from the front--a concept I can now see was read by Malraux who
tried to capture the effect in Man's Hope. It could be, maybe was a mutual
influence. Troksky is writing after Malraux's famous first novel on the early
Chinese Revolution in 1923...that failed..

I can't think of anything like this. The profound reflection of the present
moments in Egypt, Tunisia ... like those nights I spent.. I hope I don't burn
out I am at chapter 2.

I'll buy it later so I have it.
