Please calm yourself your down and stop the accusations. Does Marx
recognize the importance of child labor? Yes.
Should we consider children to have consented to labor contracts? No.
Therefore, Marx does not say that the capitalist
mode of production necessarily depends on formally free wage labor (and
there is recent research showing
that child labor played a pivotal role in the Industrial Revolution). Marx
does show that it tends to universalize it and
that exploitation is possible even when labor is formally free.
