Here we have the program of the anti-working class wing of the environmental 
movement. It's good you bring it out into the open, raghu. Instead of 
regulating production and implementing comprehensive cconomic and 
environmental planning, just slash consumption. One-two-three-many Greeces.

Only, as the living standard of the masses is slashed and slashed again in 
Greece, Greece is not becoming an environmental utopia. The truth is, no 
matter how far one slashes consumption, environmental devastation will grow 
if there is no regulation and control of production, while regulation and 
control has the possibility of increasing mass livelihood while protecting 
the environment - but this possibility will require a class struggle over the 
question of what type of regulation and control.
