The Mormon Church is a big Boy Scout enthusiast. Also, Lord Baden-Powell is seen as using his creation of the Boy Scouts as a way to travel the world as a spy for British Intelligence. When I was in the BSA, I was told that one of the first things Hitler did was to suppress the Boy Scouts. But some reading I've done since suggests that the BSA was merged with the Hitler Youth with no transition problems.
