It appears that all AEA members are receiving a mailing from Lawrence
Kotlikoff asking us to sign a petition supporting the INFORM ACT (a law
that would require that all budgetary decision makers include a "fiscal
gap" projection -- which of course uses the very skewed approach of
Generational Accounting a la AUerbach and Kotlikoff.

I wrote back saying I'd consider signing if Kotlikoff were to respond to
Dean Baker and Mark Weisbrot's critique in their SOcial SEcurity book ---

I propose that any PENNER who receives this, write a note to Kotlikoff (his
e-mail is on the letter) and challenge him to respond to the Jamie
Galbraith, Warren Mosler and Randy Wray ISSUE BRIEF from the Levy Institute
(as well as their Congressional Testimony in 2009).

It's a small thing but it would be cool if Kotlikoff got 50 or so e-mails
asking if he's ever responded ---

(Jamie says as far as he knows Kotlikoff et al have not DEIGNED to respond
...)

SO it goes.

Mike
