Lawrence Kotlikoff did write back. He touted the fact that Kenneth Arrow signed his petition -- then argued that he really couldn't understand the Galbraith, Wray, Mosler argument --- "if people believe there are no budget constraints then I don't know where to begin..."
With that assertion he dismissed the critics. So it goes ....
