I don't know what his political program is. But I don't think it's an unimportant question whether or not significant reductions of working hours are compatible with capitalism over the medium- to long-run.

In the course of capitalist development the working week has been reduced from seventy hours a week to forty or fewer hours, and capitalism, alas, is still going strong. How then would a further reduction, say to a twenty-hour working week, be incompatible with the capitalist mode of production?
