Who is going to bell the cat? The precondition for taxing the wealthy is taxing
the wealthy. Until the political power of the wealthy is curbed there is no way
to curb the power of the wealthy.

"Solutions" to the current inequality must not require Presidential or
Congressional action nor aid from the Court.

Subject: [Pen-l] Taxing wealth

If financial inequality is going to be reduced, there needs to be some way to

tax wealth.

One thing that would help would be for dividend and taxable gain income to

be taxed at the same rate as earned income.
