One way to tax the wealth of corporations would be to have the corporation issue a given percentage of stock issued to be paid to the government as a tax. It would eliminate the difficulty of appraising the value of a corporation and reduce the need of the corporation to raise cash for payment of taxes.
The stockholders would have no need to pay taxes on their stock holdings because the tax comes from the corporations. -- Ron
