All this is well and good but it has nothing to do with what I wrote. My article was inspired by the Christian Science Monitor article about the new affinity between the Kremlin and Saudi Arabia, something that the Robert Fisks and Patrick Cockburns of the world never could have predicted, and now that it has happened cannot explain.
