It's difficult to imagine that a recount of the Iowa result - to the 
extent it is even possible - could give much of a boost to the Sanders 
campaign.

No major presidential candidate since 1936 has come as close to class 
agitation as Sanders. (FDR in 1932 did nothing of the sort.) Millions of 
workers have responded. You get nowhere if you just trash the candidate.
