Due to a change in the list server at CSU-Chico, all lists there are being migrated to Google Groups. The existing server is being decommissioned by March 30 and they plan to move all lists over to Google Groups by then. I have been assured that the archives will also be migrated but it might take a little longer as they are pressed for time and many other changes have to be made which involve other lists.
YOU DON'T NEED TO DO ANYTHING. The plan is for you to continue to receive mail in the form that you currently do. If there are problems with your receiving mail after the change, we can (individually or together) do what is necessary to assure that you continue to receive your mail. We will still look like a CSU List as the address will be pen-l @mail.csuchico.edu<http://mail.csuchico.edu/> Importantly, though, the list address will change because of the new server and you will have to remember that if you send a new post to the list. As this process moves forward, I will continue to keep you informed of developments.
