true. is air america radio taking away any audience? most of air america
is as boring (and much less informative) than WBAI, but i have switched
to listening to garofalo (air america) in the evenings. in the last few
years, i have become growingly annoyed with WBAI/pacifica's use of
publicity activists like arundhati roy. i contribute to WBAI because of
amy goodman and doug henwood (recently heard interviewing "spread"
magazine contributors on prostitution ;-)). roy is more a disincentive
(as was null, and the plethora of other shows, the reason for whose
existence i can barely fathom: phone phreak[er]s, something called the
"global beat experience", etc). but perhaps i am being churlish.
