I didn't mention that once in a while, the Larouchie table, usually as California Homemakers Association around here, (although the larouchie colors are starting to show) is staffed by BIG GUYS who remind me of bad old days. They *are* working to recruit the same crowd that would be attracted to Peace Action and CALPIRG... And I do ask them to "...PLEASE find a REAL political organization to work for..". But there's intial puzzlement on their part, and a more experienced "handler" nearby to foil and flack for them. At least they're not pushing the tinfoil unicorn art. I really hate that stuff.
