I thought that Jim Devine's last post was excellent.  We on the left have not 
been
done a particularly good job in convincing people that Bush and Cheney lied to 
get us
into war.  A good number of people still think that Saddam was associated with 
9/11
and that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction.

How many times do you think the average American saw the image of the planes 
flying
into the towers?  Dislodging emotions associated with that event is an almost
impossible task.

By the way, did anyone see the review of Ron Suskind's new book in the New York 
Times
today?  Apparently, the CIA codename for Cheney is Edgar, referring to the
ventriloquist Edgar Bergen.
