The spoof of the beauty contest was the funniest sustained scene I've
seen in a movie in a very long time.

kids are complex. I guess he was supposed to be much more interested
in flying than in the Air Force itself.
The spoof of the young girl (JonBenet Ramsey-type) beauty contest was
rich, as was our heroine's contribution to it.
