I understand what "left" and "right" mean under capitalism, but what
does it mean under a nationalist socialism like China at the time of
the Cultural Rev or after?

I basically mean that the power elite who took power after the
Cultural Revolution definitively steered China onto the path of
capitalist development, and there is no turning back.
