I'm just reading Michael Lebowitz's "afterword" to the Turkish edition

has already done, the more I believe that's the missing part in the
Marxist tradition -- or the tradition on the Left in general -- I've
been looking for.
That's really nice to hear, Yoshie. To be honest, I feel like I've
stumbled on to something (like the fabled blind pig who gets that
acorn) and that I'm filling in something that was always in Marx but
that the dominant tradition of Marxism de-emphasized; however, I hope
you realise what you've now done to my Louis and Doug market! :-)
best wishes,

P.S. The Turkish 'Afterword' Yoshie mentions is an edited version of
my response to the Historical Materialism symposium on 'Beyond
CAPITAL'; that response should be out very shortly in HM. As for the
interview she reproduced from the December issue of Socialist Review
(the monthly journal of the SWP- UK), I was delighted to see that
they retained my comment, 'I have little patience with popes of the
left who issue their encyclicals about how yet another real world
example fails their pristine tests for socialism.' Definitely hope.
