That's what happened. The demos I've seen over the last few years were
more like social gatherings. At one, most of the people were so busy
talking to each other that they constantly needed reminding to hold the
signs so the traffic could see them, not their talk-buddy.... and when
the going got serious... when the war didn't end RIGHT NOW (visualize a
group childish tantrum), everbody went back to what they WERE doing...
Living an untenable, murderous-to-the-rest-of-humanity, lifestyle.
