Given sufficiently large fiscal stimuli why can't the economy
"prosper" by everyone 'taking in each other's laundry'? Theoretically
the government should be able to pay every unemployed citizen to do
nothing but dig ditches and fill them back up all day, correct?

Also how much of the low unemployment can be attributed to the massive
spending in the defense and homeland security sectors?
