A majority of Black folks in America in the same 90s survey didn't approve of the atomic bombing, though, and it's white folks who "overwhelmingly (64 percent to 31 percent) approved" of it even in the mid-90s, five decades after the bombing, during which time they had time to reflect on it if they so chose.
