this sure seems like a "two wrongs make a right" fallacy. The banks are destructive, so let's destroy them. Forgive me if I see that perspective as infantile nonsense. But the questions should instead be: (1) what kind of alternative economic system would avoid the kind of destruction that capitalist banks impose? and (2) how can we create a mass movement to make sure that capitalism is replaced by this alternative?
BTW, the 'industrial petrochemical' age was a one hundred year blip
